iCouldBe at the 2015 National Mentoring Summit

On January 29, 2015 iCouldBe and We Teach Science presented a joint workshop on the practice, results, and scalability of e-mentoring at the 2015 National Mentoring Summit in Washington D.C.

Our Executive Director, Kate Schrauth and Aragon Burlingham, Founder and President of We Teach Science, presented a collaborative discussion about how technical innovation enables e-mentoring to connect mentors to students without any geographic barriers. We also presented an exciting new concept iCouldBe and We Teach Science are developing for a collaborative multi-year program be piloted starting in September 2015.

There was a great turn out at the workshop with insightful questions and dialogue from the audience of expert practitioners, researchers, corporate supporters, and representatives from other national youth organizations. Kate, along with our COO Wendy Siegelman and Program Director Michelle Derosier, met many inspiring leaders in the mentoring field and we are excited  to explore new partnerships!
