Using Technology to Support Students and Educational Professionals

Technology can be an extremely important tool for our children’s education, and their future. Our e-mentoring program started in 2000 and ever since then, other educational technology solutions have popped up with the goal of supporting not only students, but educational professionals as well.

In 2001, two educational professionals established SchoolSpring.com, an online site for educational job opportunities. SchoolSpring founders Jim and Susan Fitzpatrick started the company in hopes of connecting talented educational professionals to their dream jobs. The Fitzpatrick’s did not want to lose sight of an important part of their mission: to provide an innovative online solution for job seekers and recruiters in the education market, thus changing the old and inefficient system of reprinting paper applications.  Additionally, SchoolSpring has come out with a Tech-savvy Teacher Assessment, supporting teachers in their goal to keep up with the kids they teach day to day.

Tech-savvy organizations can work hand in hand – SchoolSpring and icouldbe both strive to lead students into the future with the aid of dedicated professionals and cutting-edge technology.  SchoolSpring helps to create a generation of tech-savvy teachers, who may be perfectly suited to use the icouldbe program in schools or become e-mentors for students interested in education – which can then further the NEXT generation of tech-savvy teachers…

Do you know of any other education and technology focused companies like icouldbe and SchoolSpring?
